    Using these terms with patients

    • "Muñeca" is both wrist and doll, and "brazo" strictly means upper arm — the forearm is "el antebrazo".
    • For grip strength, "Apriete mis manos" gets a better effort than the literal translation of "squeeze".
    • Numbness and tingling are distinct complaints: "entumecimiento" versus "hormigueo". Patients use them precisely.
